It’s the opinion of Kim Popper, DocumentaryList.NET’s founder, and the moderator’s of this site that it is unnecessary for anyone to upload documentaries which they do not own the copyright for.

We believe this because more and more documentary producers are choosing to make their documentaries available on websites like YouTube, Hulu, Vimeo, Veoh, NovaMov, VidToMe and others.

The producers do this because they can make money through advertising shown before, after and during the documentaries. We encourage our website fans to visit the advertisers and purchase DVD, Blu-Ray, and books that accompany the documentaries they view.

Our goal is to list only documentaries that are distributed by the copyright holders themselves.

DocumentaryList.NET does not upload any copyrighted material or host any copyrighted material on our servers. We rely on the websites mentioned previously and any additional since added to our list to verify the data they host. If you own copywritten work you must contact the websites mentioned previously and any additional since added to our list to request they remove your material.
